Breakfast and your welcome meal will be provided in our neighbouring restaurant and bar called Gales Wine Bar, this is located a handy 10ft away from the hotel front door. We often have live music on the weekends throughout the busy season.

We don’t provide any transport to and from our activity meeting locations. Our activity centre is a 20 minute walk from Without A Paddle Hotel where the following activities are based, White Water Rafting, River Tubing, Archery & Axe Throwing and Climbing & Abseiling. All other activities would require driving to the meeting location.
Parking
There is limited parking at our hotel, it works on a ‘first come first served basis’, there are two long stay car parks located less than a 4 minute walk from our hotel. They can be found on Market St and East St, Llangollen.
Food
Breakfast and your welcome meal will be provided in our neighbouring restaurant and bar called Gales Wine Bar, this is located a handy 10ft away from the hotel front door. If you are choosing our Full Package then lunch is also provided on your main activity day. We aim to meet any dietary requirements. A dietary information form will be sent to your group in advance.
Equipment
We supply all equipment for each activity. All equipment is frequently safety checked, maintained & sanitized to meet Covid-19 regulations. You must provide your own suitable robust footwear appropriate for each activity, along with swimwear and a towel where applicable, any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
We love a weekend away with the boys and that’s why we want yours to be the best you’ve ever had. With our laid back, hassle-free approach, we’ll take care of all the leg work so you can just relax and enjoy yourself.
Bring high-level banter and pack your big boy pants for our high level adrenaline activities. You’ll be in good hands, place your trust in us and we will be sure to guide you in the right direction.
I cannot heap enough praise on the Bearded Men. We stayed with them for my brothers stag doo at their new camp in the woods. It honestly was one of the best weekends we have ever done. The camp is beautiful and super well laid out. it is also miles from civilisation so no chance of the noise police getting you. Hugh, Jason and the BMA team were great, any issues we had were sorted within minutes and they went overboard making sure we had the best time. Highly recommend the Canyoning, everyone loved that, the rafting was superb and a really good way to end off the weekend (and get rid of the hangovers…). The last thing to say is that the food was awesome, quality and HUGE BBQ on the Friday and nothing, I repeat NOTHING, will beat the breakfast baps. We had several vegans and vegetarians in our group and they all got the same top quality food. Do not hesitate to book with BMA they were excellent all round.
