Good socks, it’s all about good socks…We would highly recommend investing in some good quality walking socks. Try and grab a few pairs, just so you don’t get those rubs and aches over the days hiking. Also, it’s healthy for your feet to have a fresh dry set.
Also as a back up bring some of those Compeed blister pads just in case. It’s always good to be prepared.
Hugh & Jason were excellent company and both couldn’t do enough to take us on an adventure we will never forget. We spent a few nights wild camping and taking on some gnarly ridges in the jewel of Wester Ross (real place). I honestly cannot recommend Hugh, Jason and honorary bearded man Anthony enough. Our trip always felt bespoke and we were taken out of our comfort zone without ever feeling uncomfortable. Brilliant.
