Cliffs, caves and compulsory dunking.
Coasteering in Anglesey, North Wales is an unforgettable experience. Together we’ll explore the otherwise inaccessible rugged coastline, traversing cliffs and jumping into the sea. Along the way we’ll discover the beautiful wildlife and geology of the area including rock pools, caves and fissures.
Your adventure starts near Trearddur bay on the beautiful Anglesey coastline where the BMA staff will be ready and waiting with a dry wetsuit and life jackets to keep you afloat through those rolling waves. After a short walk and safety brief, we descend to the water’s edge, hugging the amazing rock formations on the way down. Once there, it’s time for a compulsory dunk in the sea before we start our traverse around the famous Welsh coastline.
Coasteering gives you an unrivalled way to view the cliffs and this nature-filled habitat. BMA guides are full of geographical and wildlife knowledge. Top marks to the first person to spot a jellyfish or seal…We’ll also explore an epic cave before squeezing through the narrow exit back onto the wave-beaten coastline.
There are three progressively big jumps along our route and our guides will make sure you feel safe and sound as you face your fears and take the plunge. With team games and challenges along the way, including the Viking Row and the Human Hot Tub, coasteering in Anglesey is one of our staff’s favourite activities for delivering an exciting and shock-filled experience.
Perfect for a stag or hen weekend, a great day out with you and your friends, or an alternative family day out.
All our coasteering adventures take place on Holy Island, Anglesey in North Wales.
We’ll confirm the meeting point with you ahead of time and meet you there at 9am or 1pm.

Coasteering is an incredible chance to experience the famous Welsh coastline and wildlife from a fresh and exciting perspective. As you’ll be getting up close and personal with the Anglesey cliffs we strongly recommend you wear sturdy and robust laced up footwear so you can clamber along the sharp and wave-battered rocks without worrying about losing a shoe.

I booked a coasteering adventure as a surprise Christmas present for my family of four daughters and their partners.
What an incredible day we all had, exceeding my already high expectations thanks to Jason and Hugh whose skill and professionalism mixed with a lot of fun ensured that our adventure was the best yet.
Scrambling around cliffs, plunging into the sea from the rocks, and swimming between coves is an amazing way to explore a stunning coastline that would be inaccessible without the safe guidance of Bearded Men Adventures.
Thanks again Jason and Hugh…. you will be sure to see us all in the future when we book our next adventure.
